We thank you in advance for your donation to benefit the Hungarian Scouts Toronto Not-For-Profit Inc.

Our goal is to raise funds to purchase a campground within a few hours’ drive of Toronto. Our intent is to act as the custodians of this property and to establish it as a self-sustaining facility that generates its own revenue through the rental of its camping and event spaces to the public.

With this revenue, we will be able to offer the park not only to the Scouts, but to the entire Hungarian community and its organizations, providing a wide range of gathering, meeting, and outdoor facilities for their activities, similar in purpose to our former Loyola Park. We envision a property of approximately 50 acres, with access to a waterfront and, ideally, adjacent to Crown land.

We respectfully ask you to consider supporting this initiative whether through donations of time or funds, and to actively contribute to the development of a campground whose primary purpose is to preserve Hungarian traditions, heritage, and cultural identity. This will be a place where we can come together, and a facility that our entire community can use and share.
